Confirmed Unlock Route
The Rooftop Farming update changed the warehouse from scenery into progression. Its notes say a broken warehouse ladder can be repaired with Build Mode.
That repair is not available from the beginning. The official notes connect the repair items to the Junkyard, so reaching that area is the first confirmed prerequisite.
After the ladder works, roof access supports up to three farming plots. This makes the roof a build site and a long-term supply project, not just a viewpoint.

If a repair item cannot be found, return to the Junkyard and recheck the Build Mode list. Community reports do not yet provide a verified complete spawn table.
